Level 2 is a step up as learners undertaking this full 1 day course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health. As a First Aider for Mental Health they will be the main point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition. We are passionate about supporting your staff and positive workplace culture therefore we have detailed the qualities required and how to find the right person within your company for the Level 2 role. Level 2 is designed to provide learners with both a comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common Mental Health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected. This course will further enhance a positive Mental Health culture within the workplace by providing the support element needed.

There are no physical aspects to the learning of this course. Therefore, this course is accessible to people of all levels of health and fitness, to be able to pass this course participants need to demonstrate an understanding of the course material and be willing to learn and engage with the course – there are no physical requirements to this.

Do you gain a qualification from this course?

This course is accredited by the FAA as Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) / Award in First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 5. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement.
